HUGE thank you from the bottom of our hearts
Primary 2 would like to say a HUGE thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for your generosity. The students are enjoying the games, puzzles, cricket sets, footballs and blocks. They look forward to play time each day. These activities are assisting our students with learning how to take turns and to play by the rules of the games. The blocks are fostering imagination and creativity. The case of printing paper is supporting our need to send home review packs for students to work on at home. We are also able to provide parents with additional work for their children when they need extra practice with concepts that are currently being taught. We were also able to complete how to books and activities with the assistance of extra printing paper. The playdough came in handy with our science lesson on changing materials. Students were able to explore squashing, stretching, rolling and twisting to see how materials change their shape. The timer is a great addition to our day as it assists the students with monitoring their time to have their activities and assignments completed on time as well as reducing the amount of time it takes to transition to a new activity. The hundreds chart hands on activity has been a great review tool for students requiring additional practice with numbers to 100. The magnetic money has been a great asset to teaching counting coins and money identification. We absolutely love the large bean bag as we relax and enjoy books in our library. As you could see your generous contribution has been put to good use and has definitely been an asset to learning and development in our class. Again, we would like to thank you for all of your support and the important part that you have played in our teaching and learning this school year. – West End Primary, P2 Teacher
